DIY (Do It Yourself) is self-serve: you get full access to the Memox platform and configure your AI agent using our tools, documentation, and email support. DFY (Done For You) is a managed service: our team handles everything, prompt engineering, knowledge base setup, CRM integration, testing, and ongoing optimization. DIY is for teams that want the platform and are comfortable running it themselves. DFY is for teams that want a partner to build and run it for them.
Because we invest more than 20 hours of senior team time into your DFY setup, configuring your AI agent to your specific catalog, integrating your CRM, training on your sales process, and running the launch. The 12-month commitment is how we both signal seriousness: Memox invests the labor; you commit to the partnership window that makes that investment worthwhile. The DIY plan is month-to-month, cancel anytime.
Usage is billed per minute on top of your base plan. Web chat and web-based voice (microphone in browser) are billed at 6¢/min. Phone calls via Telnyx telephony (inbound or outbound) are billed at 12¢/min, the higher rate reflects carrier costs. Usage is billed monthly. You can see your projected costs before you commit.
No setup fees on either plan. On the DIY plan, setup is self-serve, no fee applies. On the DFY plan, setup is done by our team and is included in the $2,499/month. There is no separate onboarding invoice. The 12-month commitment on DFY is how Memox recovers that investment rather than charging a one-time fee.
Yes. If you start on DIY and decide you want the team behind you, contact us and we will transition you to a DFY engagement. Our team picks up from where you are, reviewing your existing configuration and optimizing it from there. The 12-month DFY commitment starts from the upgrade date.
Usage spikes are fine. You pay for what you use, there are no overage tiers, no surprise multipliers, and no plan-based caps that cut off your AI.
