Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Memox AI account and the personal data that belongs to it. Memox AI is operated by Memox Inc..
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
This is the fastest route, and it deletes your account immediately.
- Open the Memox AI app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type your email address to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
There is no waiting period and no support ticket to open. Once you confirm, you cannot sign in again.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
Use this route if you have uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or have lost access to the account. Email [email protected] from the address registered to your account, with the subject line “Account deletion request”. If you can no longer access that mailbox, tell us the email address on the account and the name of your organisation, and we will verify your request before acting on it.
We respond within one month for requests from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, and within 45 days for California and Virginia, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
What is deleted
Your account and your personal data: your profile, your notification preferences, and any push notification registrations for your devices. After deletion you will not be able to sign in again with that account.
What is kept
If your account belonged to an organisation, the organisation and its data stay exactly as they are. Conversations, documents, and integrations belong to the organisation rather than to you, and other members of the organisation keep using them. Deleting your account does not delete your employer’s or your organisation’s workspace.
How long the rest is kept
Organisation-owned data is retained on the schedule published in our Privacy Policy: chat transcripts for up to 12 months, call audio and metadata for up to 90 days, and analytics data for the period set by each provider (Google Analytics, approximately 14 months). We may retain limited records for longer where we are required to by law, or where they are needed to resolve a dispute or enforce an agreement.
